Face painting is a brilliant way to add a personalised touch to a fancy dress costume and one of our favourite party activities for kids. And while it might seem like a complicated business, you don’t have to be a face painting expert to create some really simple and impressive designs.
All you need is a couple of basic face painting materials and the help of one of our easy-to-follow video tutorials. We’ve got loads of easy face painting tutorials on our YouTube channel (you can check them out here) and we’ve showcased the best of a great bunch below.
All the designs in this post were created using our great range of face painting supplies so if you’d like to recreate any of our designs using the exact face paints we used, you’ll find them all in our shop.
Anna from Frozen
Anna is one of our favourite Disney princesses and she’s inspired one of our favourite kids’ face paint designs!
This design goes perfectly with our official Anna costume as it uses all the same colours as the outfit. And with so many little girls dressing up in Frozen fancy dress, it’s a great way to make your costume stand out! Just watch the video tutorial below to find out how to recreate this lovely kids’ face paint idea.

You only need three colours of paint for this one (perfect for parties on a budget) and once you’ve got the knack of drawing a cobweb, it’s a really easy one to make look good!
